The Weyland-Yutani Commandos are an elite special forces unit privately owned by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.
The commandos escorted a group of Weyland-Yutani researchers that were led by Michael Bishop to Fiorina 161 with the intentions of retrieving the Xenomorph Queen embryo within Ellen Ripley. The commandos killed Francis Aaron for assaulting Michael and took the last surviving prisoner, Robert Morse into custody for relocation after Ripley had committed suicide to prevent the company from getting the Queen embryo.

Weyland-Yutani Commandos are clad in full-body armor with a backpack and a helmet that protects the face, dubbed "apesuits." This heavy armor seems to be designed to protect the soldier from the powerful melee attacks and the Xenomorph blood's acidic effect, but their actual capabilities are never shown. The commandos are armed with the M41A Pulse Rifle.
The commandos that serve as the capture unit are clad with chain-mail sort of padded suit, mainly around the shoulder, arm and leg areas, resembling a dog trainer's bite suit. They also carry a large cage and are equipped with a pole device with a rope hoop on the end similar to a dog catchers' lasso, likely for capturing the Alien.
