Tesotek TXR/2100-B was a Cygnus Tesotek 2100-B Commercial Mineral and Ore Refinery vessel. In 2121, the USCSS Nostromo left Thedus on route to Earth towing TXR/2100-B with a load of twenty million tons of unrefined ore.
History[]
Tesotek TXR/2100-B began construction in 2112, and was completed in 2115. It was the third such vessel completed by Cygnus and delivered to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation for commercial operations. The vessel was licensed for commercial deep-space goods transportation and autonomous mineral refinement to and from Earth until February 7, 2130, by the Interstellar Commerce Commission.[1]
In 2122,[2] Tesotek TXR/2100-B was destroyed along with its complement of ore when the USCSS Nostromo's self-destruct mechanism was activated by the ships Warrant Officer, Ellen Ripley.[3]
