Fourth Act[]
The article currently states “Alien originally was to conclude with the destruction of the Nostromo while Ripley escapes in the shuttle Narcissus. However, Ridley Scott conceived of a "fourth act" to the film in which the Alien appears on the shuttle and Ripley is forced to confront it.”
I know Ridley has pushed this narrative, but in the original script by O'Bannon and Shusett, the alien is hiding in the shuttle and Roby is forced to confront it. Does anyone have more information on this supposed change by Ridley Scott? Because it seems to me it was not his idea. Mfnickster (talk) 17:08, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
