The Starcub-class shuttle was a model of shuttlecraft manufactured by LockMart Industries.
Description[]
The Starcub was a light intrasystem shuttle built around a single 108m3 pressurized cabin. The cabin featured crew stations for three personnel; pilot and co-pilot at the front, with a science station at the rear. Storage space and lockers lined the interior walls, and there were two HS-150 Hypersleep Capsules installed for long in-system journeys or interstellar flights. The starboard sleep station could be pressure sealed to function as a third hypersleep chamber.[1]
The spaceframe of the Starcub was a conventional ceramic and composite outer skin. Power is generated from a single 9gW microfsion reactor that fed two Newington A-24 rocket motors. A Romberg 100C tachyon shunt allowed the Starcub to travel at low supralight speeds.[1]
