Navarro was a young Human living on the Jackson's Star colony, employed by Weyland-Yutani Corporation as the pilot of the hauler USCSS Corbelan IV. In 2142, she was part of a group who planned to scavenge hypersleep chambers from a wrecked Weyland-Yutani installation, the USCSS Renaissance. During the mission, Navarro was attacked by a parasitoid that implanted an alien into her. Navarro was killed when the alien hatched.
Biography[]
Navarro worked for the Weyland-Yutani Corporation on Jackson's Star as the pilot of the hauler USCSS Corbelan IV under Tyler Harrison. While they were loading a Tesotek in orbit of LV-410, the ship detected a beacon. Navarro tracked it back to its source, which was seemingly an abandoned Weyland-Yutani ship drifting in orbit. Interrogating the ship via the hyperlink, Navarro discovered that the ship still had hypersleep chambers on board.[1]
Seeking a life out from under Weyland-Yutani, Tyler, Navarro, Bjorn, and Kay, hatch a plan to used the Corbelan IV to infiltrate the wreck, salvage the pods, and then head to the next nearest habitable world, Yvaga III, a nine-year journey in stasis. Needing access to the ship, Tyler recruited his ex-girlfriend Rain, and her synthetic "brother" Andy. As a Weyland-Yutani android, Andy could get them access. Navarro piloted the Corbelan IV to the drifting wreck, and they discovered that it was not a ship, but a space station named the USCSS Renaissance. Navarro docked the hauler with the station, and Tyler, Bjorn, and Andy boarded to recover the hypersleep pods.[1]
The boarding party found the pods, but they did not have enough fuel in them for the journey. Tyler ejected the EEV module containing them, and ventured deeper into the station to recover the needed fuel. Navarro disengaged the Corbelan IV from the dock, picked up the EEV module in the hauler's rear bay, then docked at another airlock closer to the boarding party.[1]
The boarding party became locked into a compartment that Andy could not get them out of since he did not have the clearance. Rain and Navarro boarded the station, where Rain copied the credentials from a damaged synthetic into a module, then transferred them into Andy. While Andy was rebooting, it became clear that there were alien organisms in the room with them. Tyler and Bjorn managed to fight them off until Andy rebooted and opened the door. Navarro and the others fled the compartment with a number of the creatures in pursuit. Escaping into another room, Andy seals the door but one creature got through and attached itself to Navarro's face.[1]
Andy did not know what the creature was, but reactivated the synthetic that his new credentials came from. The synthetic, Rook, told them that the organism was infecting Navarro with an alien lifeform and that they should either run or give Navarro a quick death. The group came up with a plan to get the organism off by using the cryo-fuel to weaken its grip. They succeeded and the organism was removed from Navarro's face. However, Rook gave Navarro a sixty to forty percent chance that the creature had already finished its work implanting her.[1]
Andy stated that they could not taken Navarro back to the ship and risk the creature getting loose. Bjorn refused, and he and Navarro fled back to the Corbelan IV. Andy was unable to stop them, and they launched the ship from station. Shortly after, Navarro began to feel the affects of the creature inside her. She died in Kay's arms as the organism erupted from her chest. As she died, Navarro kicked the Corbelan IV's controls and sent the ship crashing into one of the Renaissance's hangars on the other side of the station.[1]
