The VP70 is a 9 mm, 18-round, double action only, semi-automatic/three-round burst capable polymer frame pistol manufactured by German arms firm Heckler & Koch GmbH in 1970. The VP70 serves as the standard sidearm for USCMC marines.
This gun is notably seen in the hands of Private Frost just before the Xenomorphs attacked. Cpl. Ferro attempts to draw hers from its holster, but is unable to in time when a Warrior gets aboard her ship. Lieutenant Gorman uses one to shoot at the Warriors while escaping through the airshaft.
