Simpson was a manager at Weyland-Yutani's Hadley's Hope colony on LV-426.

History

Simpson sends colony "wildcatters" Russ and Anne Jorden to the area beyond the colony to search for a derelict ship on vague orders of Carter Burke back on Earth. Russ and Anne Jorden eventually discovered the derelict ship and went inside to investigate, only to discover the ancient Alien egg nest, where Russ is implanted by a Facehugger.

Simpson was presumably impregnated or killed by the Xenomorphs when they infested the colony.
