Doctor David Hale was a incubation specialist of the Origin Facility on LV-426. David's death was mentioned by his own brother, Steven who was trying to extract an embryo out of his brother's chest after a Facehugger breached out of a containment cell and impregnated David with a Chestburster. Unfortunately, his brother's attempt to save his life was futile as the removal of the Chestburster proved fatal for David.
