The Cloned Queen was the matriarch and leader of the Cloned Aliens that were bred by the United Systems Military aboard the Auriga.

History

The Queen was originally an immature chestburster that was gestating within Ellen Ripley after she was impregnated by the super facehugger prior to her arrival on Fiorina 161. Ripley eventually chose to end her own life in order to keep Weyland-Yutani from getting their hands on the Xenomorph by throwing herself into the giant furnace. Weyland-Yutani was able to obtain Ripley's DNA that was mixed with the Queen's DNA.

The United Systems Military used Ripley's DNA that was preserved by Weyland-Yutani and attempted to clone Ripley in order to obtain the Queen Chestburster. However, almost all of the numerous attempts to clone her ended in failure, as the mixture between human and Xenomorph DNA caused severe genetic disorders to the clones and ultimately resulted in their deaths. The eighth clone was considered a complete success by the scientists and the Queen was surgically extracted from the clone. The Queen soon matured and began to lay eggs. The USM begins to repopulate the Xenomorphs through the use of human hosts that were acquired from Frank Elgyn and his group of mercenaries.

The Cloned Xenomorphs soon escaped from their captivity and wreaked havoc aboard the Auriga, and resuling in the ship automatically setting a course back to Earth. The Queen underwent a drastic transformation in its reproductive methods by changing its eggsack into a womb. As a result, it ceased laying eggs and instead gave birth to live offspring without the need for eggs and human hosts. The Queen proceeded to give birth to a new form of Human-Xenomorph hybrid called the Newborn , while being witnessed by both her surrogate mother Ripley 8 and Dr. Gediman who was taken by the Xenomorphs earlier and was cocooned to the walls. The Newborn proceeded to talk to the Queen through low growls. Due to bearing a mixture of human and Xenomorph traits, the Newborn recognizes Ripley 8 as its mother and kills the Queen by decapitating her, much to Gediman's shock.

The rest of her offspring were killed when the Auriga exploded high in the atmosphere above Africa.
