In the Fog, an officer must adapt to the materials at hand.
After repairing Generators for a total of 70/60/50 %, Chemical Trap activates:
- Press the Active Ability button while near a dropped Pallet to install a Trap, which stays active for 100/110/120 seconds.
- When the Killer breaks the Trapped Pallet, its Trap explodes, spraying the Killer with a chemical compound that slows them by -50 % for 4 seconds.
Chemical Trap deactivates after triggering successfully or once the timer runs out.
The Auras of Trapped Pallets are revealed to all Survivors in yellow.

- Chemical Trap also staggers the Killer if the Trapped Pallet is broken by The Entity.
- This occurs, for example, when triggering Spirit Fury.
- A Trapped Pallet can be reset to its upright position by using Any Means Necessary.
- The Trap will remain active and continue showing its Aura to Survivors.
