Anant was a member of Prodigy Corporation's search and rescue team. He responded to the crash of the USCSS Maginot when it ploughed into buildings in Prodigy City in New Siam on Earth.
Biography[]
Anant was a member of Sigma-Prime, a tactical search and rescue team working for the Prodigy Corporation in Prodigy City, New Siam. When the USCSS Maginot crashed into tower TSR L24-2, Sigma-Prime observed the event and responded immediately, deploying to the crash site to evacuate the wounded and secure the site.[1]
Part of the team led by Sergeant Benjamin Rashidi, Anant and Hoyt entered the crash Maginot alongside Rashidi, Siberian, and Hermit. Rashidi ordered Anant and Hoyt to go in one direction in search of survivors, while he took the other in the opposite direction. Anant and Hoyt found a lab aboard the ship with caged extraterrestrial specimens, and the body of a crew member who had been shot.[1]
Leaving the lab, the pair were held at gunpoint by a survivor of the crew. After ordering them to disarm, the crewmember took Anant and Hoyt back into the lab and secured them to piping before leaving them. Hoyt was attacked by an alien tick-like creature which latched onto him and drained him dry of blood. Anant was attacked by another tick creature shortly after that clamped onto his neck and began draining him of blood.[1]
Anant and Hoyt's bodies were discovered by the Lost Boys Smee, Curly, and Nibs. The alien tick creature, fully gorged on Anant's blood, detached from his corpse and moved away.[2]
